• All members of Character Cloud must be at least 13 years of age. Age restricted content requires members to be 18 years of age or older.
• Character pages can not be used as site/game advertisements or act as character requests. Players are welcome to include information about related character requests, but it should not be the primary focus of the page.
• In the event that you feel your creative work has been stolen and posted on Character Cloud without your permission, please contact admin with as much information as possible. We will make every attempt to assist with these requests within reason. We will not facilitate edit wars or offsite related issues.
• Admin will not entertain requests to blacklist or remove members for offsite activity. However, members of Character Cloud found to be participating in malicious activity within the roleplay community may be subject to removal from the public directory.
• Character Cloud does not use a pm system. Players may list forms of contact in their profile. Do not use contact information to harass other players or to advertise your games.

Content

• Character Cloud is not a roleplay forum. Character pages are meant for showcasing the characters and development. Profiles are for showcasing the player.
• Character pages containing content not suitable for individuals under the age of 18 must be posted in the Age Restricted forum. Guests can not access age restricted content.
  • Sexually explicit content is not allowed in detail.
  • Graphic violence is not allowed in detail.
• The use of content warnings is encouraged but not strictly enforced. There is a built in content warning system that allows players to toggle these warnings on and off, but it is up to the player to use them appropriately.

Images

• Images of individuals under the age of 18 must be used with caution. No images of children under the age of 13 at the time of the photograph may be used at all. Photos of children age 13-17 may not be included on any page containing content not suitable for all ages.
  • Any photos of children must be commercially released promotional images or screengrabs; no candid or personal images allowed. Social media accounts and youtubes, including those run by a company, are considered personal for this rule and may not be sourced for images of anyone under the age of 18.
• All requests by individuals, companies, artists of artwork, etc.. to not use their content or likeness must be respected.
• Images of deceased individuals must be commercially released promotional images or screengrabs; no candid or personal images allowed. Social media accounts and youtubes, including those run by a company, are considered personal for this rule and may not be sourced for images.
• No images containing nudity, graphic violence, sexual activity, or depictions of illegal activity based content may be used, including in the age restricted areas.
• All artwork must be used with permission of the artist and include a credit to the artist. "Artist unknown" is not a valid credit.
• All use of AI must include a credit to the software/website that was used to generate it.

• The top and bottom bars may not be obscured or replaced, but the css may be changed to fit your code.
• Credits are strongly encouraged and may be placed both directly on the code and in the appropriate field when posting.
• The use of javascript/jquery scripts is not allowed.
• Unless directly specified in the post of the resource, all codes will be assumed for use under CC BY-NC. This means that the code may be remixed, built upon, and redistributed as long as it is for non-commercial use and there is a credit attached.
  • Players are encouraged to skin each others code and post it for others to use at no cost.
  • Character Cloud does not allow for the advertising of for sale codes anywhere on this domain, including the resource pages. We do not endorse any paid services and are not responsible for any transactions. Players are encouraged to continue using their existing platforms for selling codes that may be used on Character Cloud.
• Links to "tip me" style websites are allowed on resources but must not be required for access to the coding and must be clearly labeled.
